中国王力集团2002年1月经国家工商行政管理总局核准变更注册,注册资金2.5亿元。集团旗下现有防盗门、室内门、进出口、机械制造、防盗锁、电动自行车、润滑油、咨询、物流等数十个跨国民经济产业,已发展成为集科研、设计、制造、销售、服务于一体的大型集团化公司。

当时,中国王力集团正处于一个企业、品牌整合期,发展的需求亟待一个统领旗下所有子公司与品牌的集团名称,要求大气而极富包容性,另外需要对旗下所有业务与产品进行梳理、品牌建设,以及品牌推广。
