河北纵横钢铁集团是一家集矿产资源开发、焦化、煤化工、烧结、炼铁、炼钢、轧钢、余压余气余热发电、污水处理综合利用、冶金科技开发等经营业务于一体的大型钢铁联合企业集团，集团下设两大钢铁公司（邯郸纵横和沧州中铁），是目前国内规模较大的热轧产品和中宽带钢生产企业之一，是河北省政府确定“十二五”期间重点扶持发展的大型钢铁联合企业集团。集团总资产近400多亿元，其中：固定资产300多亿元，现有职工13000余人，在全国民营钢企中规模居前三位，装备水平先进。
