北京大学，简称“北大”。初名京师大学堂，是中国近代第一所国立大学，以最高学府身份创立，最初也是当时中国最高教育行政机关，行使国家教育部职能。北京大学“上承太学正统，下立大学祖庭”，在中国高等教育史上具有承上启下的独特地位。北大催生了中国近代最早的现代学制，开创了中国高校中最早的文科、理科、政科、商科、农科、医科等学科的大学教育，是近代以来中国高等教育的奠基者，并享有崇高的学术声誉。在中国近现代史上，北大始终与国家民族的命运紧密相连，深刻的影响了中国百年来的历史进程。
Peking University, the modern China's first national university, was founded as the highest institution of higher education, it is used to be China's top education administrative organs, exercising the functions of national ministry of education. It has has a unique status in the history of Chinese higher education.
北京大学是中国最高学府，同时也是中国综合实力第一的大学，理科、文科、社会科学、新型工科和医科都是它的强项。在最新2012年教育部学科评估中，北大有35个一级学科列全国前3名，数量居全国高校第一。全校拥有国家重点学科81个，同样在全国高校中遥遥领先。按照国家重点学科，北大的理科、文科、医科实力均为全国第一。作为中国近代第一所综合性大学，北大诞生了中国高校中最早的数学、物理、化学、地质、心理、力学、计算机、微电子、核物理、农学、医学、中文、历史、哲学、考古、外语、政治、经济、商学、新闻等学科。
Peking University is China's highest institution of higher learning, is also China's first comprehensive university of science, arts, social science, new technology and medical. In the latest academic assessment of the ministry of education in 2012, Peking University has 35 first-level discipline listed the top three, quantity is the first among the national colleges and universities. The school has 81 national key disciplines and far ahead in colleges and universities in China.
北京大学作为中国顶尖学府、百年老校，其深厚的文化底蕴，不言而喻。北大向来以兼收并蓄而闻名，正是因为有着这样海纳百川的胸怀，才在历经百年的洗礼依旧枝繁叶茂，孕育了一代代学子。先知公司的王思翰教授此次受邀，到北大建筑与设计高级研修班进行学术讲座，将众多内涵丰富的国学元素融入到现代建筑设计中，让充满现代气息的建筑设计变得古色古香、温婉典雅，赢得了在座学员的好评。
Wevin Professor Wang Sihan was invited to give lectures about architecture and design, and the relationship between Chinese culture and the modern architecture and design. Chinese culture makes modern architecture design gentler and more elegant.The whole training courses are a huge success for Peking university, and Professor won a lot of academic admiration from the audience.
